Her favourite job – interacting with our clients and their pets or playing with her baby -- Ruby! Alpana describes Ruby as a “cocktail”. She is a mix of all breeds you can think of.
Samantha says: I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant with this fantastic team at Datta Veterinary Hospital/London Mobile Veterinary Services since January 2018! Ever since I was a young child, I was very passionate about animals; but really who can resist their soft fur or their adorable eyes! I am a hard-working pet owner of 2 cats, a rabbit, and a horse- they for sure keep me busy. In my spare time I enjoy baking, a good hot cup of tea, and being out at the barn with my horse.
Amanda lives in Lambeth with her husband, two dogs Daphne and Bogey and cat Rosie. Amanda joined the Datta Veterinary Hospital/ London Mobile Veterinary Services team in June 2019. She enjoys getting to know our clients and petting all the dogs! In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her dogs, reading and baking.
For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to work in the veterinary field to help animals. I graduated with honours from Georgian College in the Veterinary Technician program. Soon after I became a registered vet tech. I have the pleasure of working with the dedicated team at Datta Veterinary Hospital and London Mobile Veterinary Services since February 2020. I love meeting all of our furry patients and taking care of them as if they were my own while they are with us. They say 'If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life'. When I’m not working, I love to go camping, going on hikes and walking my dog. I have a dog, a cat, a fish and a guinea pig that I love to snuggle!
I was always fascinated by the idea of preserving nature and in particular animals, as they are the integral part of it. The relationship between humans and animals has always been a beautiful concept to me as we are all members of a bigger community, inhabitants of the earth.
I studied veterinary medicine in my country of origin, Iran. I moved to Canada in 2019 with my wife who also happens to be a veterinarian and we have been en route to obtain our veterinary license since. In the meantime I have had the privilege to be working alongside Dr. Datta and his amazing team. I hope that I can meet the requirements to accomplish my goal and be able to help nature the best way I can.
I can’t remember a time where there hasn’t been a pet in the house; from birds to dogs to snakes...So it was pretty natural for me to get involved in the animal field. I have had the privilege of working with a variety of animals from exotics to wildlife.
I joined the Datta Veterinary Hospital team in November 2020. I look forward to learning and growing with this team and getting to know our clients and furry patients.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my Senegal parrot, Mina, going on nature hikes with my partner, birdwatching and dabbling here and there with pottery making
We have other new staff who will be introduced momentarily! Say, 'Hi' to them the next time you call or email in!! We are so happy to have you!
